HooperImpact measures a player's impact on their team through advanced analytics that combine player efficiency (PER), minutes played, and team performance. The tool calculates Player Contribution Percentage (PCP), which represents the percentage of a team's success attributed to each player based on their efficiency and playing time.

This is then combined with team win percentage (for regular season) or playoff success (for postseason) to calculate the comprehensive Player Impact Metric (PIM), providing a holistic view of how players contribute to their team's success.
